We are recruiting to fill the  positions below:

1. Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

Roles & Responsibilities

  • As a senior executive the post holder will act as a business partner and be fully involved in planning, budgeting and company strategy (financial and business).
  • The individual will provide strategic recommendations to the MD/CEO and members of the executive management team.
  • In addition, the individual will lead, establish and maintain the company’s corporate governance compliance programme and all associated controls.
  • He/She will ensure proper management and integrity of financial matters, plan cash flows and ensure proper funding of operations and capital investments.
  • The individual will also be responsible for the provision of treasury services to meet near and long-term financial obligations


  • The post holder must be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA).
  • An MBA is also highly desirable
  • Experienced professional in commercial or finance discipline, with minimum of 20 years of relevant experience (at least 10 years in an executive capacity) within the E&P industry

2. Job Title: Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer

Roles & Responsibilities

  • The individual will be directly accountable to the Board of Directors for all activities of the company.
  • He/she will champion the shaping of the vision, goals and objectives of the company and ensure these are achieved through articulating and executing clear and relevant business strategies and plans.
  • The MD/CEO will be responsible for ensuring superior return to shareholders as well as search for new strategic opportunities. In addition, the MD will establish and foster strong relationships with key stakeholders across the entire value chain of the oil and gas industry in Nigeria.


  • Twenty to twenty-five (20 – 25) years professional experience (at least fifteen years in an executive capacity) within the E&P industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering or any relevant discipline
  • An MBA is also highly desirable
  • Relevant professional certifications from a reputable professional institution e.g. Nigerian Associate of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE), Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) etc.
  • Exposure to multi-million Commercial deal-making in the E&P industry across several geographies or businesses
  • Proven experience in liaising with key investors, bankers, regulators and senior government stakeholders
  • Familiarity with diverse business functions such as operations, finance etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices
  • A track record on asset improvement initiatives and/or major project delivery

3. Job Title: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Job Summary

  • The COO role reports to the Chief Executive Officer.
  • Responsible for overseeing the overall business operations strategy as this is crucial for growth and profitability of Group Operations; cutting across; Retail Sales, Trading, Logistics and Depot Operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversees the development and implementation of operation business strategies, objectives and plans to achieve corporate targets.
  • Allocates resources as required by the various operations
  • Prepares and implements the annual budget for the core business units and monitors performance to ensure that variances are minimised
  • Puts in place measures to ensure that approved operational standards, procedures and practices are consistently rolled out and adhered to across core business units
  • Oversees the management of relationships with key business partners
  • Engages with the external communities, government agencies and other relevant stakeholders concerning business operations to ensure operations run smoothly at all locations
  • Reviews and presents management and regulatory reports on core business operations
  • Ensures adequate crisis prevention and crisis management measures are in place across all core business locations
  • Evaluate performance data / metrics and implements measures to ensure achievement of operational / financial targets
  • Ensures adequate training and performance management support is provided for the development of core business unit staff
  • Drives compliance with governance, risk management and effectiveness standards and recommendations across the core Business Units.

  • Bachelor’s degree in in a Social Science, Management, Accounting, Finance or Engineering or related discipline is required
  • Master’s degree in business or related field is an added advantage
  • Minimum of ten (10) years’ relevant downstream experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a similar role
