Job Title: Sales & Relationship Management Officer 

Job Overview:

The Sales & Relationship Management Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales pitches, membership registration, enhancing and sustaining client relationships.  Key activities will include:

  • * Actively promote FMDQ’s service offerings to prospects
  • * Develop client relationships
  • * Provide detailed feedback obtained from client calls on FMDQ’s products and services offerings, to ensure consistent value-add to stakeholders
  • * Actively drive the cultivation and sign-up of clients across all membership categories
  • * Manage and maintain FMDQ business interfaces database
  • * Provide daily updates on business generation activities
  • * Generate daily, weekly and monthly reports of new business generated
  • * Represent FMDQ at seminars, events, conferences etc.
  • * Assist in any other matters arising in the day-to-day activities of the Sales and Relationship Management Unit
  • * Any other tasks assigned


Qualification and Skills 

  • * Three (3) years or more of sales and/or relationship management experience
  • * Working knowledge of economics and financial markets, focusing on the fixed income space
  • * Understanding of the basic mechanisms of general financial markets products and services
  • * Detailed understanding of FMDQ’s products and services
  • * Strong communication skills, both oral (including telephone manners) and written
  • * Excellent command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and good command of Microsoft Visio (desirable)
  • * Strong presentation skills
  • * Strong interpersonal skills
  • * Ability to present a professional appearance
